Extremely dissatisfied with Hook Well Drilling Inc. They performed an unauthorized water pump replacement at a rental property we manage. We had only asked for an inspection and a call back with their findings upon arrival. When we followed up hours later, we were told they would call if there was an issue. Instead, they replaced everything without our consent and charged our card, which was not authorized for anything except an inspection. This is a clear violation of the Pennsylvania Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law (UTPCPL). We are willing to pay for the equipment only and have requested receipts for verification, but we will not cover the labor or the visit. We had our well pump go on a Wednesday evening I called them 8am Thursday they said they had a quick job to do and would be at my home around 11. They were here and got right to work by 1pm water was running. Thank you to a great couple of guys. We will be calling again when need. Very reasonable prices also.
