Should Not Be in Business!!! I regret to say that my experience with Horizon Restorations has been nothing short of a nightmare. If they come knocking at your door, I urge you not to answer. Particularly, I want to warn others about a representative named DJ—he is a scam artist. What began as a minor leak turned into a full restoration project that was completely unnecessary. DJ claimed there was water damage everywhere, despite the fact that the issue was localized to a small leak from the AC vent. Without my permission, he cut out flooring and made a hole in the ceiling for "testing." The next day, I received an invoice for thousands of dollars for work I never authorized. DJ responded immediately and explained the mitigation process to me in detail. Jeff was a delight to work with. He was always polite, punctual, and went above and beyond to keep my home clean while he was working. I really appreciate that Horizon worked with me while I navigated issues between my condo insurance policy and the HOA master policy. DJ and his team responded promptly and efficiently to the water damage situation. DJ arrived the next day to conduct the evaluation and his team began the mitigation process the day after that. With great attention to detail, they carefully covered all surrounding areas to protect them from dust and debris during the repair work. Once the mitigation process was completed, they thoroughly cleaned up the worksite, leaving no mess behind. Their professionalism and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized environment were greatly appreciated, ensuring minimal disruption and peace of mind throughout the entire process.

Horizon’s team has been nothing but outstanding. They were prompt within an hour of us calling for help regarding flooding to over half of our home. Jeff was out tech and walked us through every step of what to expect. He’s a man of integrity and did such a thorough job to not only mitigate all the water but also construction wise. Salvaging everything he could, while also demoing our home. He had a very calm demeanor in a time of our panic and was very reassuring to our emotions regarding the state of our house. DJ has also been very communicative and prompt with what has/is/and will be done with our house and the future process of reconstruction.
