We highly recommend Horizon Landscaping Designs. We chose Horizon Landscaping Designs because Lazaro was the only one who listened to us and drew up a proposal reflecting what WE wanted. Over the past ten years, the large roots from our neighbor’s tree killed our plants and uprooted our gate and fence. We wanted a patio, a pathway to our gate, a new fence, and a whimsical rock garden where we could improvise with potted plants. Lazaro suggested we go to his supplier to see the color options available to us in person to ensure we would be happy with the finished product. I met with Mr. Lazaro mid August of last year to discuss landscaping my front and back garden. During our on site meeting I detailed sun and shade areas. I made it clear that I only wanted plants that would .come back year after year. There were four plants that did not. Pictures shown here. I paid Mr. Lazaro $3,000. The front garden is 2 1/2 ft. wide and 11 1/2 ft. long approx. The back garden is smaller. I followed Mr. Lazaro watering and clipping instructions to the letter. When I contacted him this June to let him know that these 4 plants did not come back and asked him to replace them with something else he refused. In my opinion he does not stand behind his work and I will not use him again or recommend him to others.

Always on time. Communicates well. Respectful and friendly to my crazy critters! Used him for a small job and had him back for 2 large projects and we have another project in the works. Built the best chicken coop(fortress)! Our deck looks great and the stone and brick work exceeded my expectations.

We’ve had a great experience with Horizon Landscaping Design. Our flagstone patio needed complete mortar replacement due to breakage. From our initial assessment/quote visit to project completion, Lazaro was timely and thorough, with competitive pricing. His crew worked hard and the patio looks new! We’d use Horizon again!
