Houck Asphalt Maintenance, Inc.

This is my second time using Houck Asphalt and I’m pleased with their quality of work. My extensive driveway had many areas of wear which Houck repaired and sealed. The end result was better than previous companies performance in the past so I will recommend using Houck to anyone.

Our house sits well back from the street, so we have a very long driveway (see the attached picture). We therefore consider it an investment, and we have made it a priority to keep it in excellent condition. Eleven years ago, we had a complete driveway replacement, and we have had Houck sealcoat it at appropriate intervals since that time. Houck recently sealcoated it this year, and the results were excellent, as usual. Their work crew did a thorough job preparing the driveway before applying the sealcoating, including trimming all of the adjoining grass and flowers and blowing off all grass and other clippings so they could apply the sealcoating all the way to the edges. Houck sent me an email requesting I leave some feedback, so here it is. I decided to go with them due to there 4.8 out of 5 rating! We had some interior line work done in our warehouse and the end result was just 'ok'. I did 2 walk-throughs with the rep. and thought it was strange how few notes he took, and not a single photo to help detail the work to be done. So one of the outlines was painted incorrectly (and is now permanently on our floor!), one of the markings was forgotten entirely, one of the straight lines was curved/bowed, and the footprints got progressively more sloppy. I expected much higher quality for work done on smooth warehouse floors but was told that "epoxy is hard to work with". They did send the Painter back out to fix the issues. Houck offers exceptional service and were receptive to my schedule challenges. I will always look to Houck for service, large or small. They are local, dependable and competitive. A follow up to my review of the work 10 days ago and I couldn't be more pleased with the project. Stayed off for 4 days and it dried beautifully. It is curing as the guys explained and in another 20 days will be fully cured. It is smooth, consistent and will provide needed protection for a couple years. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HOUCK

Showed up the day they were expected and did an excellent job. Edged, cleared and applied a new coat in under an hour. It looks great, we will definitely use them again.
