Howard Avenue Garage

It’s set up and run well, but one must leave garage into the outside before entering hospital bldg at 800 Howard Ave. Make sure you have a debit or credit card, cashier is not always there or won’t have any cash or change!!

This is not secure at all. Someone tried to steal my car and caused over $5,000 worth of damage to my vehicle. The company refused ANY assistance. DO NOT PARK HERE. They are disrespectful and unhelpful. THIS WEBSITE STATES THIS IS A SECURE PLACE IT IS NOT!! Awful company. I was hung up on because i requested to know the 3rd party that validates the parking.

This parking garage does not take cash. It is very inconvenient to others. If you use your credit card, it is a 3 dollar fee plus whatever service charge fee your card wants to charge you. Look it up in your monthly statements. if you didn't know. Not everyone wants to use personal credit cards because of credit theft. Consumers have the right to pay cash or card if they want. Not everyone uses a credit card. If the garage owners don't want to pay a cashier, to check out costumers at least have a cash dispenser machine like supermarkets do. I'm going to report this to #Consumersreport

It could get confusing. You receive a parking ticket upon entering. If you are a transplant patient, take ticket with you as you get 1 hour free. Must have receptionist validate. Upon leaving, go to office in lobby where u entered, and insert ticket into machine. Attendant will inform you if you have a balance due. Once cleared a new ticket is issued from attendant. Go get your car when exiting, insert ticket into machine, the gate goes up and go.

Every time I am here the disabled / handicapped accessible spots are majority occupied by cars without placards. Some even park in the aisle of accessibility (the notched out space for ramp and wheelchair access)! When I complain (even with plates numbers and photo proof) they don't enforce it. It's terrible. I have to add fifteen minutes to my trip time to just allow me to find a far away spot and slowly and painfully head to the elevator.
