Howard Avenue Park and Ride

This place is a rip off! If I could give it a -5 stars, the rating would still be too high. The garage is super far away from the superdome. And once you park, the attendants do not tell you that they will leave before 5pm and lock your vehicle into the garage FOR THE NIGHT. The tickets say by 5pm. We were there at 4:30 with multiple vehicles in the garage still and the gates were locked. We called multiple times from multiple phones the number given to get the code to open the garage. There was never an answer. We called the police who said that it was private property and not their problem. We asked the homeless person sleeping by the garage. He said that this happens every day and we would be stuck there until morning. Finally someone arrived who had an app that could scour the web for

BEWARE! We used this parking garage when we went to the Olivia Rodrigo concert. After the concert was over we went to get our car out of the garage and could not. The outside key pad would not work and the phone number to call did not work. The police were no help the tow company was no help. After an hour of sitting with homeless people and rats running around we finally noticed a key pad inside the gate. You could not see the numbers you just had to feel and count. Then you had to pull your arm out quickly before the gate would twist your arm. If I could give this garage zero stars I would! We will never use it again!

Do not park here if your able to avoid it. Needles everywhere. Picture included this has been there for almost a week now. I am going to continually update photos. New needles found 07/18/25

Let’s just say you get what you pay for. The manager is super nice. The issue I had is that I never felt safe getting to my car. There are a lot of rather unsavory people that hang out around this garage and have access to the garage. The manager tries to keep his eye on what goes on but he can’t physically be in the garage for 14 hours straight.

Someone broke out our window and damaged the car. Saw where at least 2 other vehicles had their windows smashed out too. Noticed that the gates are broken and cannot be closed. A bunch of homeless living in tents right around the corner. Owners refuse responsibility. Don't park here. Security cameras inoperable.
