American Home Shield dispatched this company to our home for a hot water heater repair on 12/29/2025. On 01/05/2026, they determined a part was needed to complete the repair. Part was ordered and they came back on 01/28/2026. The part ordered was one piece of the wiring harness and they didn’t realize it was the wrong part until they arrived. While here the plumber was very vocal to himself about his frustration So they ordered another part. Came back to install and it doesn’t work at all now. Again the plumber was very vocal about his frustration while my son was present. They put in an order to replace the unit. We get a list of uncovered items from AHS. No call from the plumber to explain anything. Of the items includes “code updates” and other items that are not consistent with an elec

Jason and Braden arrived promptly at the appointed time and replaced two challenging external 35-year-old anti-siphon faucets. They communicated throughout the process and were very professional and efficient in completion. I would highly recommend their services.

American Home Shield warranty sent this company to check a toilet leak. The tank actually had a hairline crack from the handle down the front of tank. Plumber reported to AHS "It is cracked due to force. Someone leaned back on toilet or raised toilet seat up too hard." I have a plastic toilet seat and average size people using toilet. No chips or signs of being hit by anything! Due to plumbers statement AHS wouldn't cover repair. For additional $375 Hudgins would be happy to replace toilet. Seems like Hudgins couldn't make enough money by honoring warranty so they made up a false scenario. I will never again use them or recommend them.

I called because my water to my guest bathroom shower wouldn't shut all the way off. They destroyed my bathroom wall. I have two visible scrapes in the permanent wall of the shower. They "secured" the faucet and handles with only a messy layer of silicone, that immediately tore apart. It looks so sloppy. The faucet isn't secure. The entire fixture pops out when you use any part of it. The water will not divert to the shower fully, which wasn't an issue prior. They left huge holes I have to repair. The loose fixture will cause additional issues if water gets into the wall. This is literally what they do for a living, I didn't hire a neighborhood kid to do this, despite it looking like I did. If you have a choice, I would recommend choosing someone else.

I have always respected a person who can be upfront with me. As such I would definitely recommend Hudgin Plumbing. Mr. Dean n Mr. Derrick where both very professional n upfront with me. They did a very professional job on my washer's pipe cleaning it out swiftly n quickly allowing me to finally run my water. Mr Dean also replaced my water heater sometime last year too n it works amazingly til this day. It's also an added point In my book at least that they also cleaned up after themselves as well, which is very much so appreciated as I've dealt with some plumbers who didn't in the past. 10/10 would recommend.
