Hughes Painting LLC

I have had Hughes Painting LLC do three major painting jobs in my large 1915 home in Woodland Heights. The first, they painted the walls and cabinets in the kitchen, the first floor bath, and the living room in 2018. Then, second, the painted the very needy front porch--floor, ceiling, railing and supports. Most recently, this January 2021, Hughes' crew did two large rooms, 16' x 17' feet, both with 3-4 doors, windows, and fireplaces--lots of needy woodwork. Hughes people are experts at what they do and pleasant to have around. During this most recent job, everyone wore masks and maintained appropriate social distancing while getting the job done efficiently. And the result is exquisite: two rooms that I'd neglected because the ceilings here are high and I don't feel comfortable on ladder

I have used Hughes Painting for exterior work for many years and more recently interior painting. George and his crew spend considerable time preparing the surfaces and it makes a huge difference in the finished product. We have never had exterior paint jobs last as long and I am convinced that it is the preparation as well as the products George selects. He and his crew are professional, courteous, and beyond merely competent. I am sure you can find a cheaper painter, but George is for you if you are looking for real value.

We have had Hughes Painting paint the exterior of our home 3 times now and the last paint job lasted 8 years! They are extremely professional and take great care to clean up after each work day. George always has excellent recommendations for how best to complete a project. We have also had them strip a great deal of wallpaper and replace it with paint. The crew was efficient and the living room, foyer, stairway, and long hallway looked perfect. It was difficult to tell they had even been there (except for the new paint!) because everything was so neat when they left. When you need a project done, this company should be your first call.

We have used Hughes Painting three times over the last 10 years. They are always professional, trustworthy, and thorough in the work they do. This year we hired them to paint the inside of our home. It was no easy job. They had to completely remove the wallpaper, strip the backing off the wall, repair where needed, sand, and prime before they could begin painting. Weeks after they had finished, I was amazed at how meticulous of a job they did. I cannot thank George Hughes and his crew enough for what they have done for us over the years. Yes, we will hire them again.
