I had an outstanding experience with Hunter Excavating. Improving drainage has been a to-do since purchasing this property and Kendrick’s responsiveness, knowledge and approachable nature made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I especially appreciated Kendrick’s honesty. I knew from the first consult what would and would not be possible on our lot. The entire team was efficient and thorough from first dig to cleanup, and the quality of their work exceeded my expectations. We had some significant trenching and piping and the team left our yard in excellent condition. I am extremely satisfied with the results and will absolutely choose to work with Kendrick and his team again.

The Hunter Excavating team was wonderful! We wanted to clear out the overgrown ground, years of pine needles, and old stumps in the natural area of our backyard as well as remove a tree and large bushes from our front yard. When we talked with Kendrick about the project, he outlined exactly what they would do and made sure all expectations were the same from both sides. When they completed the job he once again explained what they did and made sure we were happy with it and that is met our expectations. His team showed up on time and did the work faster than we expected without sacrificing quality. He also gave us a very reasonable and affordable quote and stuck to it. We would definitely recommend them for any residential landscaping needs!

Kendrick is the man! Working with Hunter’s was a 12/10!!! From Kendrick, to the rest of the crew, they all did an awesome job and were very hospitable and kind. Kendrick talked me through everything as he was very knowledgeable. Truly caring about the customer and the relationships built. The team worked effectively and efficiently putting out a beautiful product. Super thrilled with my gravel work, allowing for my spaces to be used to their full potential now. I had Kendrick and his crew remove seven trees from my densely wooded property as well as limbing a couple of other trees. They did a great job and everything was cleaned up well when they were done. I was happy with everything about these guys and would definitely use them again.

I hired Hunter Excavating last year to help improve our yard's drainage, but waited to write this review until I had time to see how the upgrades went. They did a very thorough assessment of our yard's situation, what was causing the big puddles and mud that just wouldn't dry up. They were honest about what was likely to work and what wasn't, and helped me understand what to expect in terms of improvement. We ultimately had them excavate a large part of our back yard and install a large number of french drains, as well as dig out an existing drainage ditch, remove some small trees in the way of drainage, and pipe our drain spouts away from the property.
