My husband and I purchased a Hunter Home about a year and a half ago. We have been so pleased with the quality of not only Steve and his subs workmanship but also the products used. In addition, we've been pleasantly surprised and grateful for timely and thorough communication from Reece on a couple warranty issues to ensure they were completed to our satisfaction.

We bought a home from Hunter Homes in Whistlers Cove, Donnelly ID. The workmanship of all the trades has been exceptional. The few items needing attention after move in were taken care of. The schedule of the construction and final delivery was on the mark.

What’s wrong with this picture? You buy a $20,000 dollar car and you get a 5 year warrantee, free oil changes and great customer service. They call and remind you when it’s time for service and if something goes wrong you can get it fixed or scheduled for repairs within a couple days. When you call the dealer you get to talk to a real person or at least they get back with you within an hour. Now you buy a nice looking brand new $400,000+ home and you only get a one year very limited warrantee and you never hear from the contractor again. Not even a thank you. You call and leave messages, no returned calls. You call again and the mail box is full. After trying for several months trying to make contact, you send a polite letter hoping they receive the letter, still no response. Several more

I bought a house with them in May, I have reached out and Steve has answered my call once about the brick falling off the fireplace. I have since reached out numerous times to try and get this issue resolved and I have received crickets. I am to the point where I Will hire someone and send them the bill for the fix even though something like this shouldn’t have happened in the first place, specially for the price I paid for

I agree with what Tim wrote, "the warranty and contracts signed by owner are not worth the paper they are printed on. Nearly impossible to get him to fix anything" I had the same experience
