Hutch Electric

We have used Hutch Electric for years. They are our go to Electrician and boy, they deserve to be called first. We have typically asked for Jean because he knows our building so well and it’s quite valuable to us. Today we had an emergency, well it was actually just a little blazing electrical fire. Fortunately, we were able to put the fire out without much damage. However, we did have some electrical damage, of course. JEAN was not able to answer the call today because he was on another job. Caroline @Hutch reached into her bullpen and was able to send a young man named Zach to our rescue. Even though Zack had not been our property before, he was knowledgeable a pleasure to work with and most importantly went to work. Have personally used Hutch Electric many times for various electrical jobs and they never disappoint. They hung difficult chandeliers and trouble shot electrical issues. Have referred them to countless clients too who have also been very happy with their service.

Can't say enough good things about Hutch Electric! We had 2 unique and complicated lights/chandeliers hung by Zac and Alex who were very professional and took great care in the delicate nature of the handblown fixtures they installed. The next week Zac returned to install new smoke alarms throughout our home, again being professional, careful and neat in all aspects of his services. They used shoe-covers, placed drop-cloths on the carpet and cleaned after the project was complete. We are extremely pleased and will use Hutch for our electrical needs in the future. Also, the office/appointment staff were friendly and very efficient! AAA+++ service!!!

hired them for a simple job to install under cabinet lights and two GFI outlets. We were stunned when we got the bill that was over $8000 for this simple installation and included 13 hours of labor and $2000 just to install the two outlets. Completely insane. We made multiple attempts over several weeks to contact them to discuss the invoice with absolutely no response. Finally, they put a lien on our home and we started receiving threatening letters from their lawyer. I would not have them in my house to even change a lightbulb. They are crooks and liars.

Had a fussy two-pin halogen bulb fixture that became unreliable in lighting when I changed bulbs. Lighting store where I bought bulbs recommended I give Hutch Electric a call. I called Carol and she had Mark look at a photo of fixture I sent and Mark called to explain what I might be dealing with. He scheduled Mick to come two days later who solved my problem. Mick was fantastic and so intent on finding a solution. Will definitely use them again. On time (and actually early), reasonable electrician fees. But most important, skilled and efficient in finding solutions to a problem.
