IAH Airport Terminals C, D & E Garage Parking

Ron Walsh of Terminal C Courtesy Services (shuttle) was a refreshing experience. This was southern hospitality at its best. I needed to find parking but although spaces were listed as green, none were available. Mr. Walsh came through helping a damsel in distress! Following him, he directs he through the parking garage maze and helped me get into a suitable parking space. He definitely knows his way around. He went the extra mile, helping me with my baggage and gently reminded me to take a photo noting where I am parked for return, provided drop off directly in front of elevators and wished me well on my trip. He was so warm and friendly. He is definitely an asset to your team! I wish I had cash to tip him, so I hope my “thank you” was enough.

Airport is under full renovation since 3/4 month time. Because of this traveller are getting extra pain to access their departure gates. Direct access is restricted and many diversions are placed! Please have some extra time in hand prior departure of flight. Expected to have more shopping and more eating places but still to come up. Check in area is always much crowded as the long haul flights counters are placed next to each other.

I had a great experience with the parking garage attendant Carl Thomas at the airport. Our QR code wouldn’t scan at the entrance after several attempts, and we were starting to get stressed. The attendant stepped in right away, was patient, and quickly helped resolve the issue so we could enter without further delay. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made a frustrating situation much easier. Excellent customer service and very much appreciated.

Parking lot CDE LEVEL 6 I do not have enough words to thank the nice gentleman in his tram who picked up a frazzled girl rushing to make her flight at terminal B for work (boarding door closes at 7:10am during school break). I hope this message gets to him. In my panic, I forgot to ask his name but he helped me so much. I originally thought to run through terminal E but he thought terminal c would be better and was he right! I made it with 5 mins of the door shutting. I have used this parking lot often for travels. The system is the most advanced I have ever seen but I feel it’s the people who work there who make it so special! Thank you and thank you again to the gentleman who had the best smile and soul!

While I am glad the construction at the international arrivals area at IAH is finally seeming to be finished, the pickup experience remains very difficult. When I went to pick up my friend from an international flight, the security staff immediately pushed all cars to keep moving, with no option to wait even briefly. I had to loop around the terminal eight times before he finally exited the building. I understand that curbside waiting is not ideal at a busy airport, but the lack of any comfortable or designated waiting space makes the process unnecessarily stressful. With all the improvements made to the terminal, I hope the airport will also consider better solutions for drivers picking up arriving passengers.
