Looks like you not only have bad job reviews. My review is for their crappy drivers. You had one of your drivers hell bent on making a left turn on to Chinden from Can-Ada this morning 3/3/26 @ approx 7:15am. Zero regard for the fact others have to get to work. Easily could've have made a right turn and took a different route. And someone was upset enough in traffic that they got out of their car to try to reason with him in hopes he would just make a right turn. But instead he chose to hold up traffic for 20 minutes. Before finally making a right turn and then took a left turn on Star. Teach your drivers to only take roads with traffic lights or to make a right turn if they are sitting there waiting to make a left turn for more than 4 minutes, with a line of cars behind them. Placed a small order for road mix for our farm. Michelle may think she is being efficient, but she is rude and condescending. They couldn't come out for six days, so I found a better company that could deliver the next day. When I tried to cancel my order, the call went to voicemail, so I left a message cancelling the order and asked for a confirmation call back. It didn't happen so I called back twice, both times receiving the voicemail. The receptionist finally got me through to Michelle, who kept interrupting me and said she had cancelled and called me back. There was nothing on my phone. The main point is that the company in Caldwell was so easy and polite, we have our gravel, and I won't be bothering Idaho Materials & Construction anymore.

The insurance/claims department is horrible to work with. I drove through a very active construction site and ran over a large piece of metal and had to replace a tire. When I finally (after about 2 weeks of leaving messages) go a hold of the claims rep, Jill, she told me to submit my claim and any pictures I had. After a week and half, she emailed me and informed me that because none of their crew or anyone that they outsource work to uses the type of equipment that punctured my tire, they were rejecting my claim. I replied back and asked that they reconsider, seeing as how they likely unearthed the metal, in which case, they would still be responsible for my tire. I never got a response back.

I'd write a half a star if I could. These guys drive up and down Meridian road ALL THE TIME with their loads uncovered. They fill the trucks way too high above the freeboard, and they speed down the main veins as well as the freeway with UNCOVERED LOADS. It takes all of two seconds to cover your trucks with the supplied tarps, but that apparently takes too much and so they just pelt people down the road with their garbage flying out of the trucks. I've seen it over and over so many times that I'm finally going to post a complaint review which I NEVER do.

My company uses Idaho Materials and Construction every day. Actually a couple of times a day. I find the concrete to be the best in the valley. SUNROC sometimes has no air in the concrete. Which won't help with freezing temperatures that Idaho has. I have not had a bad experience with this company. I'm a small business/contractor and I havent had any issues. Other people who call in and want a "will call" that aren't using them everyday. Expect the service I get. I'm making IMC a priority in my business needs so they make ME a priority too.
