Ideal Cabinetry

I should have thought twice after reading all of the reviews where products arrived damaged. The truck driver that delivered my entire kitchen cabinets said he noticed some pallet seemed crooked. When he pulled it out, they had stqcked three levels high and one of the ottom cabinets had collapsed causing the rest to be loose and thus rubbing an upper cabinet door all to heck. When I began installing I found another base cabinet that had a busted face frame at the very top. It is easy to see that they drilled the pocket hole too close to the top and it cracked. Also, one of my upper cabinets arrived with just the box, the doors were shipped separately and I had to install them. One cabinet came without the rubber bumpers on the top drawer. ridiculous how they let products get through QC. Drawer face mounted to box a full quarter inch off center - no excuse not to catch this. And the box was damaged. Brought it back to HD (who’s been great to deal with) and new drawer and face shipped promptly to my house. However the face was not mounted to the drawer (not what I paid for), and the box was severely damaged. Absolutely no QC at this company.

I'm going to make this review as simple as possible. I'm posting to help anyone who is considering Home Depot and Ideal and hasn't bought yet or bought and is worried about their purchase. 3 Stars here's why - Initial call to HD was good. Knowledgeable customer service, great pricing and they offered the unique corner cabinet options without going to a custom builder for more than twice as much - Problems started after paying. (Like right after) - Mixed communication with timeframe. It started 5-7 days and turned into months. Automated Emails were constantly pushing the date back weeks at a time. - I finally received the shipment after 2 months. The first cabinet I removed from the skid was completely wasted. It’s terrible .. my biggest regret dealing with this company .. so your self a favor and buy different brand or even Chinese knock off brands , you’ll be much more happier.. after long issues with delivery, messed up cabinets , poor designs and alignments, and now after 6 month of use the paint is already fading .. unbelievable . I am thinking of taking a legal action against this company and my dealer in NJ .. I paid an arm and a leg for this, thinking I would be Getting a good quality cabinets…

*BUYER'S BEWARE* Probably THE WORST cabinetry quality I've ever installed or worked with. I'd have zero hesitation to give this company a 0 star review but I can't. It seems as if there is a lack of care for quality control. This company needs to be investigated and shut down. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GET TRUE CUSTOM CABINETRY ELSEWHERE! The amount of dicking around on the phone and emails with people to get the correct things only to have mismatched painted doors, entire base frames mismatched, cracks, dings, scratches, and overall care placed into these cabinets both upper, and lower cabinets are ridiculous! I'd rather trust cardboard construction over these. We want a refund!!!!
