I am not happy with their service, since the boss never came before their team’s first and only visit on April 28 to inspect the units. During that visit, I specifically asked if there would be a service charge and was told there wouldn’t be, which is why I was surprised to receive invoice for $275. Another company had already diagnosed the issue as a leak in the evaporator coil in the attic, but they were unable to find the part. That’s why I contacted Ideal Comfort Systems, hoping they could find the part and provide a quote. When their team arrived at my home on April 28, one technician went to the attic to check the coil and the other to the outdoor unit to check its brand. Within about 30 minutes, they informed me that they were able to find the part, and I would receive a quote on

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a brand new unit installed and after 3 1/2 years there started being issues. I would have to call them to repair and after they did I would have to pay for a service call, which is standard. When the same issue kept happening and I received an electric bill over twice as much as normal I was forced to call them again. They came out again but was not able to enter the attic because they did not want to use my ladder, so they had to come back before finally finding that the problem was in the handler unit in the attic, which was never checked initially a month prior. Terribly rude and unprofessional! I never write bad reviews but this had to be shared. This company came highly recommended so I had them come to complete work on my rental property. As soon as they left and I had paid $171, the unit went right back to blowing hot air. I asked them to come back and received an additional invoice for the REAL issue. I gave them a call to ask about any credits that I should receive for the wrong part being replaced and mentioned that I would absolutely cover labor. I was met with a terribly rude response from both Janice and the repair man, who told me “I’ll go put your old part on there and it can burn up for all I care”. I think Clyde and his company deserve much higher ratings than they have received prior. This company does excellent work and will gladly go the extra mile to save their customers money. Clyde will not try to sell you the most expensive fix, offers a variety of options, and tries to find the most cost-effective solutions. We have used Clyde for the past seven years and appreciate his humility, good nature, and service.

Our unit breaks down every summer and winter every year. Each time they say it is an issue. The tech came out and put a switch on it and it is still not working hot all weekend long. This has been a problem since we got the unit from them. Very troubled by this especially when we have to pay for the service call twice a year. Something is very wrong.
