Josh and Matt with Ideal Construction were the very best. Very timely starting with the estimate all the way through to the finished project. Josh was very prompt with updates and texts. Our 17 year old deck looks brand new. We are extremely happy and we highly recommend them.

I have an older home, built in the mid 1970’s and it is desperately in need of updating. (Think harvest gold kitchen and avocado green bathrooms, linoleum floors and laminate countertops! Ugh!) First up was my kitchen and I wasn’t completely sure of what I wanted. Matt had a lot of great ideas and the results are fantastic! New custom cabinets, hardwood flooring, some reconfiguring, back splash, granite countertops. We did a full gut job. Communication was great. They handled all my mid-project change requests professionally. Of course I had a little scope creep (completely my ideas) and we ended up adding new flooring to some additional rooms outside of the kitchen. We were referred to Ideal Construction by a friend who had had them remodel a bathroom for her. After some preliminary discussions, we hired Josh to remodel a master bath and a guest bath for us. Right from the start Josh and Matt were very personable, provided accurate quotes, and worked with us when design decisions needed to be made. We didn’t have a lot of design changes, but when we did they were very accommodating. Their work was very professional, was completed in a timely manner, and they were very cognizant of minimizing their impact on the rest of the house during the project. We had several projects at our house, including a bath remodel and creation of an upper balcony off the second floor, that Josh and his guys helped us with. It was a lot of work managing all the different contractors. I never could have done it on my own. There were some small road blocks with plumbing mishaps, but Josh did a great job of holding people accountable and finding good (and affordable!) solutions. We’re very happy with the work! It truly feels like the home of our dreams now. Will definitely be calling them for future projects.
