InterContinental San Francisco – Valet Garage (Propark)

Overall, this hotel is ok. However, there are three issues that I would like to point out: 1. Outdated phone system The hotel’s phone system seems very outdated. We repeatedly received scam calls in our room, with callers asking for room numbers, credit card information, and other sensitive details. I do not understand why such scam calls are allowed to reach guest rooms. The hotel should consider upgrading its phone system to better block and prevent these fraudulent calls in order to protect guests. 2. Inconsistent breakfast policy for children The breakfast policy for children was not consistent. Great Location, Serious Noise Issue ​This hotel is perfectly situated for attending events, offering an unbeatable location, especially for the Moscone Center—it simply couldn't be more convenient. I was pleased to find the property very clean, and the rooms themselves are updated and modern. ​However, if you are a light sleeper, I urge caution, as the noise level here is a significant drawback. The heavy room doors are prone to slamming loudly throughout the night, and the sound travels surprisingly far; you can easily hear neighbors entering rooms many doors away. Compounding this issue, the windows provide minimal soundproofing against San Francisco's city bustle, allowing every horn honk and siren to penetrate the room, which continues late into the night.
