I have been really impressed by Sandra Salas, one of the partners in this company. She provides great service at reasonable prices. She is also very hands on with her crew. The people who work for her are longstanding employees and I was happy to have them at my house. They are thorough and they work until the job is done. You can feel good about working with them.

I am so happy I found Island's Lawn & Garden! I live in Lemon City and had been looking for a landscaping service for some time now with no luck. But when I found Sandy, the owner of Island's Lawn & Garden, I was grateful and excited to be hiring her team. Sandy took the time to speak to me on the phone and understand my needs, she came out in person to give me a quote and explain the options I had. In contrast, to other companies who simply emailed me estimates without knowledge of my yard's needs. Her professionalism is really a breath of fresh air after all the different places I had contacted. I first hired Islands to complete a large landscaping cleanup which included cutting a few palm trees down. The landscapers that arrived that day, were not Islands employees but instead sub-contracted through Islands, despite being told the opposite. Immediately, I knew I would be paying a premium. I also hired Islands for lawn maintenance after the job assuming they would live up to their end of the deal. Nonetheless, the job took two days and at the end of the second day, I informed Sandy the owner and her son Brett of several sprinklers that were damaged during the trimming. They never came out to look at it nor fix it, despite being told that Brett "handled" that side of the business directly.
