IUI Riverwalk Parking Garage

I also almost got stuck here today here for a basketball game. I had a student ultimately help me get out. If the campus is aware their machines have a history of issues, then make the garage free. It doesn't take much to have security or staff assist people getting out either. I'm never parking in any of their garages again. Do better IU Indy...

Wow, where do I even begin with the circus that is IU parking? We parked just fine, no problem there, but trying to leave? Oh no, their machines were broken, and guess what? Nobody could get out. So, like some kind of hostage, I had to call the non-emergency line, get transferred to IU police, just so they could tell IU parking to let us out. And let me tell you....it only went downhill from there. It took over 30 minutes for someone to finally show up, and when she did, she spent forever walking back and forth, resetting the machines for every single car. It was like watching someone hit “Ctrl+Alt+Delete” on repeat, but somehow slower. People were fuming, I was fuming, and yet,did IU parking bother to just open the gates and let everyone out since, you know, it wasn’t our fault the machi

I love the location for getting to concerts at the amphitheater. But is it just me, or do the exit gate pay machines never work for you all? I feel like the angle is super bad out my car window, and I can never get my credit card in and as fast as it wants… have to press for the on-call attendant. Of course you can pay at the machine at the Wabash St entrance but for a while there, I’d forget. No more! Such a pain when you have a string of people behind you waiting to go home late after an event.

Park here to have an easy access to the river walk and White River State Park.

Great place to park as I go to my training session at NIFS. Safe place to park. Close proximity to the canal, NCAA, the Zoo, NFHS, IU Indy as well as the JW Marriot, and the White River Stage.
