My leach field failed after 30 years. I first called Quality Service last year and they said the leach field could be repaired. They charged me $4K to fix the field and the work they did actually made the problem worse. I called Ivey's and the owner Toby who has 30 years of experience in these matters recommended a completely new system. They were able to install a new gravity system that replaced the old system that required a pump. The owner was on the job everyday. My new system was professionally installed for a fair price.
Whenever an issue arises with my septic system, these fine folks have always responded quickly and professionally. The dreaded red flashing light or high pitched alarm no longer cause me anxiety after I started using Ivey’s. A few years back, I was new to the world of septic systems and didn’t fully understand what was needed in order to properly maintain the system. I needed to replace a 15 year old pump and have the tanks serviced. The gentleman that came out was professional and genuinely took his work seriously. He took the time to explain the system so that I could understand and what to do in the future to prevent problems. For several years, I have continued to use Ivey’s for service and repair. I will continue to use them as they are honest and affordable. I had my system serviced
I chose Ivey's Septic Services to assess the condition of a septic system in a 50+ year old house. They tested, advised, and ended up replacing the septic tank. They communicated with me every step of the way; secured the Orange County permit quickly; did the work in a timely fashion; took great care to minimize damage to lawn, landscaping, and existing brickwork; and, did everything at a fair price. Mr. Ivey is an owner-operator which means he does the work himself. His equipment is brand-new and well-maintained. He and his son removed only those bushes necessary to work, spread a tarp to catch dirt from the excavation, and worked under, not through, the brickwork. Truly amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail. Mrs. Ivey runs the office and kept me updated on their schedule.
Knowledgeable and Flexible. Ivey's recently helped us replace our old septic tank and fix our existing drain field instead of paying tens of thousands of dollars to install a new system in a new location with a new drain field. Other septic companies just wanted to quote us a price based on the County's permit without even coming to the property. Toby from Ivey's Septic Tank Services came out to our property, looked at what we had, and helped us think of a cheaper option. Toby is incredibly knowledgeable and hard-working. He's seen it all, and he knows how to work with the County to keep the inspectors happy. He stayed late into the afternoon to transplant some bushes that had to be moved and shovel dirt around in our back yard to get it looking as good as possible. If you need septic work
I contacted Ivey's about one spot in my drain field that was leaking when my pump turned on. They came to evaluate and the discussion on cost was that it should be around $900 if it's that one blockage, but could be more if they discovered there are more problems / areas. Two workers arrived on Wednesday 12/18 at 2:00pm. They dug up about a 10" section of pipe where the blockage was and replaced that piece of pipe and then the workers left my house just before 3:00pm. The county inspector came to inspect the work the next morning. One worker from Ivey's arrived shortly after and it took them 45 minutes to fill in the area that was repaired and to level some dirt around my septic tank risers. After the work I was handed a invoice for $2553.13. I questioned the amount of the bill for
