J and J Construction

During Hurricane Sandy we lost shingles on our roof. We had the roof repaired by a different company and were told that we should replace the roof the following year. In the Spring of 2013 we decided to get several estimates for the work we needed done. A friend recommended J&J Construction to us. We called and spoke to Jody, and Jason came out the next day. After meeting Jason and getting an estimate we decided to hire J&J Construction to replace the roof and install new gutters. We also wanted to install a fan in the attic and a new fan in our bathroom. They gave us the best price and best warranty. We also felt confident knowing that a friend had referred them to us. I called Jason after a storm to repair my roof. I had wind damage which ripped my metal roof off exposing the wood slats to the elements. Rain would pour right through damaging the first, second and third floors of my home. I had called first thing in the morning and they told me he would be out that day. Jason showed at 4:30 about a half hour before dusk and said the job was bigger than he thought after I had explained everything to them prior in detail. He told me he would be back with a crew first thing the next mornig to take care of everything. The next morning rolled around and I patiently waited for their arrival. I called at 10:00 to find out where they were and no answer, he never showed or called back. My roof was exposed again until I had another contractor come out. Very dissap

I found J and his crew to be very reliable, professional and capable. I have worked with J on several projects and emergencies over the years. Ever time I was glad I called. If anyone else is helping you out, you are making a mistake. J and his crew are the best.
