J & P Landscaping

I was looking for a reliable landscaping service and was a returning customer because I did like my experience previously with J&P. A year later, I contacted Patrick from J&P. He took the deposit but never showed up for work or communicated. It seems that there was a lot going on with money situation and paying his crew which maybe the cause....it is just so unfortunate.

Same thing happened to me as you see in the previous posts. He came out for a free estimate sent me the contract, I paid a deposit. He never showed up a month later when he was supposed to. He responded to a few of my texts saying that he was behind. But then nothing after two weeks. I reported the charge as fraudulent since I paid the deposit with my credit card. No idea what this guys deal is. He had a five star rating on here when we hired him and he seemed decent and professional when he came out for the estimate. DO NOT HIRE. I’m also reporting with the BBB.

Patrick, the owner signed a contract and took a deposit at the beginning of April for work to be done on April 29th. I contacted him when the date came and went. He said it would be a few days. He has said that every time I have contacted him since. Work is still not done and no refund given. No calls, no work, no refund. Buyer beware.

I have an area in my front patio that is triangular shaped. My theme for the garden is Asian. I had J & P Landscaping give me an estimate and make some recommendations. They came out today, June 20. I am so thrilled with the work they did on my Asian garden. The "look" is exactly what I wanted. My backyard patio needed work also. Trimming bushes, putting down mulch, etc. I am also very happy with the work that was done. I highly recommend J&P Landscaping to anyone who wants their gardens to look "great."

I'm so disappointed. Same treatment as the other unhappy customers, great during quoting, responsive before deposit then only one text to say he was running behind and then he began ignoring me. Over a month of hoping he would reply. Patrick, this is no way to run a business. Very disappointing especially because I wanted to hire a local business.
