If I could Give zero stars I would. We hired Jade Construction Company and in the beginning everything was perfect. Matt was nice and easy to get along with. He was willing to work with us on budget and things that we wanted to make the space our own. However it changed very quickly, communication was extremely poor, he would ignore phone calls and text messages, then the work started to decline in quality. He installed improper duct work that resulted in damage to our home and our HVac unit. He improperly installed a shower door and also changed the scope of work for my walk in shower that was agreed upon to his own preference. He then became verbally hostile when confronted. Had them come out to give me an estimate for home repairs due to storm damage for homeowners insurance claim. A month later I hadn't received and response or estimate. I sent several emails, text messages, and then finally messaged them on their Facebook page only to finally receive a short message saying they were too busy and couldn't complete the work in a timely manner. No explanation as to their inability to communicate this earlier, nor why they couldn't simply provide the estimate they previously agreed to complete. Now, I'm back to square one and upon searching their Google reviews I see it's blatantly clear that a majority of their 5-star reviews are fabricated reviews written by their family members. Don't waste your time. They obviously can't respect their potential customer'

We have hired Jade Construction on several different occasions to do home repairs at our primary residence. Most of these have been in emergency situations (water damage) for example and he has always been very professional, responsive and quick to get the job done and he is ALWAYS on time. I think he is the only contractor we have ever worked with that shows up when he says he is going too.

Matt was very disrespectful and caused thousands of dollars in damage to my home . He's greedy and will do anything to make a profit. His short cuts are unbelievable. He did work that was not asked for then tried to bill for it. And made changes without asking us if we wanted it. He also tried to say a vanity and sink in bathroom are not part of the bathroom he billed us for, so he wasn't supplying that. He tried to bill for items we purchased. Overall such a bad experience that I would never recommend him to anyone. IN RESPONSE TO MATT, And having your whole family give you 5 star reviews to make it appear that you earned those stars is dishonest. And by the way, you never truly met me. I'm not petty, but I am going to hunt you to the ends of the earth and make sure that you never are

Poor workmanship, failed to disclose insurance carrier after he damaged our home, would not disclose the electricians so that we could verify if they were licensed, improperly removed a load bearing wall which caused the house to flex & used the wrong size beam & did not install any footings, did not consult with structural engineer, performed plumbing without a license, did not obtain a permit for outside deck work and improperly installed the deck rails and Trex rainescape system. Thousands of dollars in damage and failed county inspections, which he failed to show up for. Just a few examples of the horrible experience.IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER You were terminated with cause.
