He was quick with an estimate, patient with our indecisiveness, he and his crew were efficient, precise, courteous and always left the worksite clean! JBC is the real deal. We are extremely happy with our new deck. Josiah the owner came out to give the estimate himself. Very prompt communication. We had the quote in a few hours. He took the time to answer questions and set realistic expectations for project timeline. I obtained a few other quotes from highly rated companies in York. However, JBC is the only one where the owner would be doing the work. All other companies sent out a sales guy, and the construction crew would be entirely different too. JBC takes pride in their work, as if they were building the deck for their own house. Can’t recommend enough. You don’t need to look anywhere else as I’ve done the research.

Josiah’s work is flawless and thorough. Great guy to hire. He problem-solved some unique issues with our deck and added a Rain Escape system so our under deck patio is rain proof.

Working with Josiah at JCB Decking has been a pleasure! Quick to give an estimate, and patient with our questions. Listened to our needs with our aging dogs and agreed to build a ramp off the deck to make it easier for them. We actually signed a contract over the winter with a tentative April start date and to our pleasant surprise, Josiah contacted us to see if we wanted it earlier due to flexibility with his schedule. So now we have our completed deck a month early! Communication was excellent and timely. Josiah and his crew were polite and professional, and on time everyday. Took his time to explain everything and communicate every step of the way. The crew also cleaned everything up and left no trace of ever being here....except for the awesome new deck!
