My hardscape back yard project turned out perfectly. And I attribute that Jorge and JC Concrete. I did my usual due diligence by interviewing three contractors and getting bids. All three had done work in the development, so why did I choose JC Concrete? What I appreciated most what that Jorge listened to what I wanted in the finished project. That being said, he also provided his professional opinion on certain things. While I could have insisted, I trusted Jorge’s judgement since he deals with projects such as these regularly and deferred to his expertise. I had a good feeling the project was going to turn out well based on the extensive prep he and his team did with excavating, building up of the layers, and ensuring that the grading away from the house was being maintained. I hired JC Concrete for a ~2,000 square foot concrete project at my residence (I have an old house with lots of quirks). The project consisted of a driveway remodel, walkways, and patio areas over a dirt/sand yard with decades of neglect. Jorge gave me the best price over other contractors that bid on the job, I also thought his design ideas were superior to the others. He offered cost saving alternatives in my design, but also catered to my ideas. Jorge and his team started and finished the job in a timely manner, but more importantly did a wonderful job. Jorge and his crew were fantastic! I had some very specific needs, and he listened and catered to all of them. His prices were very competitive, and he and his crew put in more than a full day's work min accomplishing all of our requests and a very reasonable price. His work included excavation, construction of a 3-foot retaining wall, a paver stove walkway, cement repairs and a complete cement patio. see pics. Jorge and his crew did an amazing job paving our entire driveway in addition to a walkway surrounding our entire garage. They were incredibly efficient and accommodating working around weather, our schedules, and the city making our approach repaving a bit of a nightmare. With all the challenges they faced, Jorge and his crew did everything professionally and by the book.
