From start to finish, our complete house remodel was a disaster. There was no planning and no organization. Workers actions constantly caused damage resulting in more work and aggravation for themselves. John Clare is a liar, deceiving, untrained, and unprofessional in every way imaginable. Their drywall work was unprofessionally done as was all the paint work. At “completion” walls had holes, nail pops, and paint work had far from crisp lines. Tile work was unprofessional and installed incorrectly to the point of two showers being unusable due to leaking issues. Tiles were cut crooked, not level when installed, and the floor had low spots that held water. All carpentry work through the home was unprofessional and incomplete, nothing was square or level. We hired them to install a new patio door, replace our deck boards, railings, and paint lattice work and beams. They showed up on time, per schedule, and completed the job to our satisfaction. The workers are courteous and professional. John is quite accommodating and made the process quite easy. They came back to mitigate any problems that we identified after the job was complete. We're very happy with their service.

I highly recommend this remodeling company. They are highly skilled and very professional. I hired them to redo my staircase and build a handrail that lead down to my family room. They completed the job in two days and it was better than I could have a Imagine, quality work. I would definitely hire them again for any and all future remodeling jobs. John Clare, owner of J.C. Painting and Home Remodeling was hired to completely remodel the interior of our home. Every single project he was hired to do was extremely unprofessional and incomplete. A brand new walk in tile shower was installed in our master bath without the proper floor base resulting in leaking issues and needing to be completely redone. The tiles on the walls were cut crooked and not level when installed. The floor was covered in low spots that resulted in water puddling. Shelves in the shower had edges that were not properly finished and the hole cut around the shower head was cut so big that the metal plate did not cover it. This is the second time we used John and plan on using him for future projects we may have. Excellent attention to detail, on time, and good communication. They did a great job painting and installing our new baseboard. Always willing give advise about future projects as well. 5/5
