I didn’t know what I wanted. I visited several well known Madison businesses to obtain information and price estimates. Then I realized I had a local option with JD Touch Countertops. The shop is tucked in the back of a local building. It is set up beautifully displaying options and ideas. I found Jiri (aka George) waiting for his scheduled appointment. He was more than happy to give me his available time. He took the measurements I had given to the Madison businesses and he said he would get back to me with an estimate based on what I thought I wanted. Even before I received his estimate, I knew immediately Jiri was “my man”! I was not wrong. He exceeded my expectations in knowledge, craftsmanship, customer service and pricing. When countertops were on the list to decide, we were referred to George due to his quality and price. George was quick to come to our house and take measurements, explaining how they would install the sinks, faucets holes. He came a few weeks later to install the countertops with another guy from his crew. They were right on time and didn’t hold up the build process. They worked ALL day until 11pm to get the whole house done. They were meticulous, careful bringing slabs and pieces into the house to not damage floors, walls and cabinets. After no satisfaction in my dealings (responding) with a place in Oshkosh and a place in Appleton that was high priced, I looked Southward. So happy that I found George at JD Countertops in Westfield. George was quick to respond by phone, stopped into the shop and Anna was very helpful.
