Jeld-Wen Windows & Doors

Had Lowe’s install a French patio door last week from jeld-wen. Nice door but after installers left we noticed the lock didn’t work. Called Lowe’s the next morning and they called jeld-wen. The company said they would send out a new lock set in 10-14 days. Lowe’s and I 3-way called customer service rep Stone Schossow and I asked if I could change the lock set so we can lock our house he said no the set is exclusive to that door and we don’t overnight ship. He said he’d put a rush on it and that would take up to 3 days to approve. I was amazed that a multi million dollar company would let my wife and I, were in our 70s, sleep in an unlockable house for 2 weeks! I called back to jeld-wen 4 days later and spoke with another rep. Same story. 10-14 days. It’s almost a week now and no email or c

Ordered 4 windows from this company through my contractor at Home Depot. They sent two of them late, and the other two they have given me three different dates for their arrival. Will not order windows from them again, and would not recommend them to my worst enemy. They have literally lied three times. Worst window company ever. If there is anyone out there that has a recommendation for another window company please assist. I would put less than one star, but it does not exist here. Now we wait,but for how long!

Hello JW Customer Support, You can’t begin to know how disappointed I am that I waited here all day for a shipment that never came. I was contacted by Home Depot who said they didn’t have a tracking number. And that they were going to have the windows delivered to me as soon as they arrived. Everyone knew that I spoke to in reference to the date and I appreciate the fact that a rush order was placed. Or was it? I was told in the a.m. that the windows in fact left Venice and were to arrive in North Port. At the clothes of the day they still have not arrived, and there was still no tracking. I am requesting that somebody find out where those windows are and communicate that to me. 5,000 and just wait till we get around to it! Respectfully, Yvonne May

The French doors with built-in blinds look awesome and work as intended. The reason for the 3 stars is because of the sticker they smack right in the middle of the glass that is IMPOSSIBLE to get off!! And there is another smaller one on the left side near the top of the glass that too will not come off.. Not even goo gone and acetone are a match for these stickers. It’s as if they stuck them to the glass with industrial adhesive to insure they never come off. If it wasn’t for the stickers, it would be a 5 star product

Delivery date changes every month, so more delays - . I’m being told the bronze supplier and hurricane/impact glass suppliers are behind because of the lack of personnel along with the supply chain (China?). I have to wonder when we’ll close in the two openings in my home, so ordering Jeld Wen windows will not happen again.
