Jensen Precision Power Washing

Derek power washed our driveway, sidewalks, and deck. I called on Saturday and he was able to fit us in on Monday. I got an estimate over the phone. He said that he repairs and stains decks too so while he was here we got an estimate for that. The initial estimate was insanely high. When I told him we would have to find a less expensive solution he said he really wanted to do our decks and met our price. He didn’t clean the vertical parts. The stain was not evenly applied. He said he would replace the board on top of a little wall that hides our garbage cans. He did not. He asked for the check very early. I said no. He did some additional work and asked for the check again. I said I’d pay him half then and the rest when he finished. He hurriedly stained the rest. He didn’t replace the b

I initially chose Dereck because he had numerous positive reviews and came across as friendly and capable. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect that. While he did a decent job pressure washing, he was also hired to refinish my deck—and that's where things went wrong. He sprayed the deck, and while the staining itself turned out reasonably well, the overspray was excessive. There is stain on the side of my house, the downspouts running along the house, my shed (which sits beneath the deck), the air conditioning unit, and even on the hosta plants planted near the lower deck, which are now brown. Worse, he made no effort to move or protect anything before spraying. My husband's Blackstone grill cover and wheels are stained brown. My grandson’s water table had to be thrown away and r
