Jim Jatcko Painting

Several weeks ago, my husband and I moved into a new (to us) home in SW Illinois, and it wasn't until after we moved in that we realized - the house was painted the same color throughout! A friend recommended Jim Jatcko and he came out and gave us a bid. I wanted every room painted a different color! The price was not the highest and not the lowest, which is always reassuring. What I didn't fully understand is that this is a "family business" in every sense of the word. Three of Jim's adult children showed up to help, and they are three delightful and gentle-natured young people. For four days, they worked assiduously to prepare the walls and trim, and move furniture, and put down dropcloths where needed and - most importantly - paint. I hired Jatcho Painting to paint an office building in Collinsville after seeing their work on another project. They set clear expectations at the beginning and went above and beyond each step of the way. Some of the walls were in rough shape. They repaired these walls and we couldn't be happier with the ending results. I will work with Jatcko painting again in the future.
