I called Jim's to fix my furnace because it would not start. They came and got the furnace running and told me that if I have any problems to call them back. The furnace quit 2 days later and I called Jim's again to get it working. I asked the lady who answered the phone if I would be charged for a second visit and she said no because it was for the same problem. Jim's got my furnace running again but also broke a piece off my kitchen counter. I was sent a bill the following week and was charged for both visits. I called them and asked why I was being charged for 2 visits for the same problem. They told me they were not charging me for the repair on the furnace but for the consultation on a new furnace. My name is Kevin I live in Cleveland,Oh and I am trying to settle my late father inlaws estate 350 miles away in Watertown ,NY. I found out this past Friday that the gas had been shutoff to his house and with the freezing temps coming we needed a remedy fast to keep from dealing with frozen waterlines. After national grid turned on the gas I called Jim's to start the furnace and service it. unfortunately the furnace was 35 plus years old and a rusty piece of junk beyond repair. Jim's was kind enough to squeeze us into their packed schedule on 24 hours notice to winterize the property to avoid any frozen lines and water damage. This company pads the billing, blatantly overcharges for all their services. On a small building repair, they listed $900 for the cost of supplies like insulation and plywood. I went on Lowe’s website and checked prices. The supplies were $245 for everything. I challenged their billing and promised to report them to the authorities. Never heard from them again. Sadly there are a lot of crooks in our area. Beware.

We were referred to this company by another plumber to have our pump replaced in our well. When I called for service the woman on the phone asked what size I needed. I didn't know so she said that she would have the plumber bring one of each size. When he got here he didn't have the correct size so called another plumber to bring the correct size. Both ended up staying so we were charged for 2 plumbers to do a 1 person job. And to top it off they never turned on our water in our barn when they were finished. My husband called about our bill and she took some of the charges for the 2nd plumber off but we still paid about $90 too much. If you don't want to be cheated out of money then I don't recommend this company.
