After months of research and estimates, I decided to go with J&J Home Improvement. What distinguished J&J from the rest of the other companies I contacted, was Jose Angeles’ responsiveness. I was contacted almost immediately after emailing them. When Jose came to do the estimate I could immediately tell that he knew what he was talking about and I felt very comfortable trusting him with the project. Once I received the estimate, he continued to follow up and show interest in this project. He made himself available for questions. Then the project started! I have to say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a contractor. Professional, courteous, and clean. House was left Broom clean daily while construction was happening. Jose’s guidance in choosing a neo-angle shower helped us maximize our space, and our new bathroom looks great. He also assisted with minor work in our smaller bathroom, which we truly appreciated. Jose Angeles is a pleasure to work with. J&J is going to be our regular contractor from now on for renovations, and our handyman for small jobs. He remodeled our guest bathroom with a new curbless shower and beautiful tile work, bench, niche, handheld shower, and glass door. He rebuilt our main shower with similar top-quality work. And he took care of all of our list of small jobs (carpentry, electrical, paint). Jose and his team recently renovated 2 full baths in our older home, which included knocking down walls to expand the primary bath’s footprint. We interviewed and received quotes from several contractors before choosing Jose, who offered the most economical proposal. Jose is EPA-certified and supported us through the permit process, providing the necessary information for a house built pre-1978. His team (including the tiling professionals, painters, plumbers, electricians, glass specialists, etc) were professional, kind, and respectful of our home throughout the construction. Responsive, patient and experienced, Jose delivered results on budget. We’d be pleased to work with him again in the future.
