John Ricardo Hardwood Floors

John Ricardo and his team did an outstanding job on our hardwood floors. We could not be happier with the outcome. John's attention to detail and timely communications were exactly what we needed. Setting clear expectations and following through. This was especially helpful since we were remote from the property. John always followed up as promised. We purchased our flooring through Lumber Liquidators (would not recommend). This means the quality of the wood is "contractor grade" (which we did not know when purchasing). Contractor grade flooring has MANY inconsistencies in tone and quality as compared to their website pictures. John and his team have the seasoned experience to know exactly how to manage these kinds of challenges so that the flooring lays out beautifully. There is an art to

John has been a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend his flooring company! My Hardwood floors were installed many years ago and recently one had started to split in a high traffic area (they are soft wide pine btw). I called John to see if he could replace one of the boards which he just did AND at Zero expense to me. He stands by his work! That’s an exception these days and the reason I am writing this review. Wholeheartedly recommend John!

John of Ricardo Flooring was fantastic start to finish. He was very professional and his communication was incredibly impressive. He outlined timelines succinctly and his pricing was great. He did a wonderful job on our floors which was a large job and they hadn’t been done in over 20 years. They look amazing and I could not be happier!!! Definitely recommend!

The worst contractor I've ever encountered. He was hired to install HW flooring in my home (new construction). Not only did they hold the job up (no show several times), I had problems with the quality of installation that they refused to remedy. When I called the owner to discuss he was rude and said he was only speaking with me as a "courtesy". I ended up hiring another contractor to fix some of the problems with the install and another one to apply the poly. I ended up paying him $41,000 of the $42,000 quote. Obviously I went several thousand over budget because I had to hire another company to fix their shoddy workmanship. John Ricardo Flooring could care less about repeat business and should be avoided.

Only giving one star as it would not let you post without at least one star chosen. Disgrace of a flooring company, poor workmanship and they do not back the product or their workmanship or there lack of! When they installed my floors had cracks and flaws throughout. Buckling and warped, and when I requested right away after install to repair he kept putting me off. A thousand calls and three years later without even one repair - I gave up. Would not recommend this rinky dink operation to my worst enemy. Buyer beware!!!!!!!
