Johnson Hardwood Floors

We hired Johnson's Hardwood Flooring last year to refinish some existing hardwood floors and install new flooring to match. We were on a very tight schedule due to only having a month before we had to be out of our old house, and they were able to work with their supplier to find a suitable product that could be installed before our move-in date. The floors look fantastic, and everyone who visits our house comments on how beautiful they are.

Johnson’s Hardwood flooring did a fantastic job on our floor restoration. Chuck was very professional and informative throughout the entire process, taking the time to explain each step of the way. We could not be happier with the way our floors turned out.

Jeremy is hands down the best hardwood installer and refinisher around. He installed the hardwood floors in the entrance of my ice cream parlor over 23 years ago, and they still look incredible. He’s meticulous, honest, and reliable true craftsmanship that stands the test of time. Highly recommend!

Initial plan was to have floor refinished. After sanding a small section in the middle of the kitchen, it was found that the wood was not optimal (unknown wood). I was told that the stain would absorb unevenly. Plan B was to remove the existing hardwood floor and install all new hardwood. Met Jeremy at a floor dealership, picked out flooring...months ago. Decided to go with another company after I, the customer, made multiple attempts to this company to follow up on the plan, (estimate, start date).. It's important to note that during this process, appointments were missed, rescheduled, I had to reach out to them several times. Still to this day, crickets. Unreliable.

We did flooring throughout our first floor. Although the floor turned out well, there were three spots that needed fixed as well as some damage caused by the appliance guy. We got a price to fix a section of the kitchen, dining room and master bedroom. Once it was completed, the finish was definitely different than the original. The first finish was matte and the second has shine. Originally, he said if it bothers us, he would fix it. There is an obvious line in part of the DR, kitchen and BR. Half of it shines and half does not. The matte finish we wanted. When attempting to call to get it fixed... no one will return our calls. It is a shame we put so much money into this project with the workmanship done well, but the finish looks like a mistake and no one will return a call.
