Very Poor Customer Service. Our contractor purchased a motor to replace in our heating system that was defective and damaged the heater circuit board. As a result, we had to replace the entire heating system which cost way more than it should have in addition to the contractor's time in working on the sytem to determine it was defective. We contacted the company the next day and provided them with the information. They (Lon) agreed to provide us a refund and requested the receipt and credit card to be returned with the motor which the contractor did. They then refused to refund the motor when he arrived to the store. We called back and spoke with Lon and then asked to speak with Brian (manager) who refused to talk with us hung up on us. This store is the worst, I am an electrician with more than 25 years of experience and I went to buy a two pole 220v 120v contactor. coil 30amps, and I get that they wanted my electrician's license, and they couldn't sell me a stupid contactor, they told me that suddenly I didn't know how to do my job and if it got damaged I wouldn't be able to return it. He wanted me to fill out a paper with a lot of information. It seemed so stupid to me and Degrading on their part that I came out laughing, I have bought contactors all the time and this stupid store comes up with those stupid things that I have never come across anywhere else for more than 25 years haha.

I work for one of the biggest commercial HVAC companies in the southeast and some counter guy refused to sell me refrigerant because, in his words ”he didn’t know me personally”. This store has been helpful and friendly with my small repair business. If they can’t help they know where to point me to get what I need. Great price on caps and parts. In like this location and will go out of my way to do business here.

Their customer service skills have improved alot in 2 years, still kinda slow behind the register(They need some young energy in that location)and a line builds up sometimes. Overall they are good. Been a johnstone customer for over 10 years all the way in VA to GA
