Nate is Great! It’s not just a rhyme, it’s true. Johnstone does a good job overall, but having Nate with his expertise, experience, knowledge, and sense of humor on the counter makes visiting Johnstone a wonderful experience. Johnstone on the whole, has a lot of what I need, and I love being able to make one stop to stock the truck. So shop at Johnstone so that they can afford to pay whatever is necessary to keep Nate there!

I deal with their one of the salesman Gerritt and he has gone above and beyond countless times to help our company. He always answers and is willing to help you. Chandler the delivery driver as well has been nothing but amazing. Always helping and being patient when we are unsure about orders. I love this branch and the people that work here.

Hands down worst customer service of any supplier I deal with. Stand at the door and wait 25 minutes for everyone to answer phone calls. They don’t even bother to help carry things out. They should try and be more like the Johnstone in Ogden. Shawn and his crew are tip top. Friendly, professional, and they go above and beyond. I feel spoiled when I go to Ogden. Even now I just call Ogden even if I need it in SLC.

Johnstone is a supplier for contractors and professionals. I don't know whether or not they have accounts available for the general public. They sell to the installers and contractors who work with the general public. As such, there are different expectations for a company like Johnstone than say, a fast food joint. Within that realms of expectations, wait times happen commonly across the board. Prices are done differently as well. For those of us in their customer base, I would say that their service is great.

I use Johnstone Supply on a weekly basis. Lately the service quality has gone down. When you face the counter all the people to the right side of the counter are a major disappointment. I pay about $60-$80 premium for most parts I buy and I expect some level of expertise. Except the two guys on the left the rest of the employees need some training and reading to do. Every time I step in I pray to be called by one of the people on the left side of the counter.
