Jonathan Dickinson State Park Observation Tower

🌄🪾🌅 Even if you can’t make it up the tower, the walk up the hill is very manageable and rewards you with some really beautiful views stretching across the entire park horizon. It’s peaceful, scenic, and surprisingly quiet since there are rarely many other hikers in that area. A calm little escape with a great payoff at the top.

Even though the top of the tower is closed, the walk up is still worth it. The scenery along the way is gorgeous, giving you a different appreciation for Florida's beauty. Plus, the sunsets from here are absolutely stunning!

One of the best views in South Florida. Hobe Mountain rises to 86 ft. Above sea level and is the highest natural elevation south of Lake Okeechobee. Only a 10 minute round trip walk. Great photo spot. One can see the ocean and intercoastal waterway.

Great place to volunteer and give back to the community. Very cool park! Old WWII base with old concrete foundations l. Plenty of trails to hike on.

Nice short walk. The observation desk is closed April 4th.
