After 18 years of washing, scraping and sanding, then staining our cedar deck every 2 years, it was time to replace it with a low maintenance composite board and aluminum railing. Of the three other companies that we received bids on, Jones Home Improvements, Cottleville, MO, stood out among them. They were not the lowest bid, nor the highest. Rob Workman, who presented their deck, impressed us with his knowledge of the craft explaining in detail why they chose the materials they use, such as the Deckorators composite boards and the 2” Black Westbury aluminum railing.
