I’ve been a loyal customer since the Blue Ribbon days and have spent thousands of dollars with them over the years. The new company, Jos A Majka, acquired Blue Ribbon and with that, inherited the trust and expectations of long-time customers. Recently, I hired them to flush my gas water heater and replace the anode rod. Almost immediately afterward, the overflow valve—which they had installed less than a year ago—started leaking. The previous valve lasted over five years, yet they now want to charge me to replace their own faulty work. Despite the continuity in ownership and technicians, they’re refusing to stand behind the work done under the Blue Ribbon name. That’s disappointing and unacceptable. if i could, i would give this company 0 stars. Employee in the office, Veronica, is the rudest of them all. Does not let anyone speak when on the phone. we gave them a check when we received oil, before the payment due date, and they never cashed it. then they have the nerve to say we never paid on time. and now, i need to receive oil, and she is giving me a hard time about delivering a smaller amount of oil since i will be leaving and is requesting a prepayment. every time we request oil, they can never give an exact amount of oil that is in my tank it is always an estimate of what is in my tank, never an exact amount. and every time myself or landlord calls for service, we know we have oil in tank, and the issue to them is always we need oil. and then when they come out, they s

The whole staff including Scott have always been very professional & responsive! I cannot say enough about Monica who has always helped me whenever I needed anything! Recently, I have had to sell our home & every time I would have to call Monica for information or help, she always made sure I was taken care of. Scott has been there every step of the way with me since we have had to replace our oil tank & will never forget all the help I have received from him & Monica. Unbelievable service with these guys. Best in the industry. I’m the third generation to have the pleasure of working with their teams on both my heating and AC units. They have bailed us out on the coldest and hottest days of the year without hesitation. They also have a great combination traditional and new ways of working with older units which tend to be our homes previous down fall. Their teams were able to bring everything up to code and even bail us out of a leaking base board while new floors were being put in at the same time.
