From the moment we started working with this company, it felt like they were more focused on profits than customer service. During the initial roof inspection—performed by the owner himself—he pointed out that our roof decking wasn’t up to code and needed to be a specific thickness. (For context, our home was built in 1974.) We took that information seriously and started the process of filing with our insurance, hoping to get the new decking covered. But just a few days later—and without waiting for any resolution—they moved forward with the roof replacement without notifying us. I went through two different contractors that never responded back after initial conversations about what I needed done. Josh had my estimate and all the documents I needed for my USDA loan within 24 hours of first contact. If you want a metal roof installed by this company, this is what you will get. Be sure to click on the pictures to see the uneven edges, scratches, bowing, and absence of flashing. After looking at it, Josh asked me what was wrong with it. Then said it was called "canning." He said that sometimes happens and that if he replaced it, he couldn't guarantee it wouldn't look just like this. This was the first time I had been informed of that possibility. I had him replace it with shingles and he charged me for a metal roof, not a shingled roof.
