We had an outstanding experience with JR Bolton which included servicing our three gas log fireplaces, a special order (two accessories packages) and then installation of a new ventless system. Everyone we dealt with was very knowledgeable about all areas of the business. The technician who serviced our three fireplaces was polite and did a good job communicating what was wrong with one of them and what are options were. We decided to replace one set of logs and move a set of logs. When we came to the showroom to pick out our new set, we had a very lovely young woman help us and again, very knowledgeable about the products. This company, without doing anything to see what the problem was, wanted me to pay them $350 for a diagnostic test to figure out why my thermostat wasn't working. I said no thanks. Paid them their $80 service fee and called another company. This company come out and it turns out, the switch to my Furnance had been turned off and just needed to be turned back on. Had to pay the 2nd company another $80 service fee just to flip a light switch.

Had a Lopi Rockport woodstove along with a Duravent chimney system installed. The project required demolition and remodel of the common contractor grade fireplace and chimney chase/roof. A lot of work just to get to the point of installing the stove. Karis and Lionel were exceedingly patient and helpful throughout the whole frustrating remodel period and making sure clearances would be met as well as helping select the best stove for the space. when they were finally able to do the install, the crew were very detailed and informative. A good walk-thru of the break- in period (as it is cast iron especially,) safety and general operation of the stove. We absolutely love how this project turned out and appreciate our experience with JR Bolton.
