With a house built in the 1890s, it can be difficult to modify the exterior. As with most century houses, this one had an entry from the outside direct to the basement. Unfortunately, the foundation to that entry was starting to bow considerably. I called several contractors to discuss options. One gave me a quote over the phone because they knew they were priced too high. Two contractors actually showed up to provide feedback on what would work. Of those two, only one gave us an estimate. Earlier this year we had asked JShores Construction to do an upstairs renovation for us. Jeremiah and his helper Gabriel, did a super job and so we decided to call them back to do our downstairs half bath, among other little jobs as well. Once again, Jeremiah and his team have done an outstanding job! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to do some home Improvement. I recently had a bedroom added to my unfinished basement, and from our initial meeting I felt comfortable with the knowledge of Jeremiah and the quality of his work. I think what impressed me most was the input and ideas that Jeremiah added to my project in a non-pushy way that I hadn’t thought about. Was having an issue with my hot water heater so I called JShores construction to come check it out. Jeremiah explained the issue to me and informed me that I would need a new hot water tank installed. The price was reasonable so I hired him for the job. I was impressed by the quality of work. He did an GREAT job! He knew exactly what he was doing, very experienced. Water heater works perfectly!! I would definitely hire JShores Construction for any of my future needs!!
