Turns out there’s a highly rated company just 1.1 miles down the road, JSP Tree Services, so I gave them a call. The owner came out himself; a good guy, friendly handshake, no contracts or runaround. Just an honest agreement between neighbors. They showed up on time, worked around some tricky obstacles, and got everything done fast, clean, and safe. Jeff and his crew are the absolute best. I called him on a Friday and they made time on Saturday to come take my tree which had fallen into another tree down. They had to use their boom truck parked under power lines to go over my garage to reach the tree. They were fast in taking the tree down and removing the tree from my backyard. They even blew the snow off my sidewalk and driveway. DO NOT use anyone else for your tree needs.

I had 4 huge oak trees hovering directly over my house and not easily accessible, Jeff not only gave me the best deal I could find but him and his crew were great. Friendly, professional, safe, and hard working. I’d have given them 5 stars based on that alone. But a few weeks later, my cat decided to climb up one of the other oaks. Completely stuck with no way to get down. If he fell, he’d have gotten seriously injured. On extremely short notice, Jeff and his guys came out and rescued my cat!

Jeff quoted us a reasonable price to remove a dead ash tree in our back yard. His crew climbed with ropes to avoid bringing heavy equipment over the yard. Jeff gave us a verbal quote for some additional work they performed that day, and everything was cleaned up and looked great when they left. A very professional job and personable business owner. Highly recommend!

Very happy with JSP. My insurance company put me in a bind with my home owners insurance and a large maple was preventing me from getting coverage elsewhere. The response was fast and the quote reasonable. He was completely transparent with everything they were going to do. Even talked to my neighbor for me to get them on board.
