JT Turf Care

We had a new law installed last fall and we’re instructed to have the lawn professionally maintained. Based on reviews we select JT Turf care. We are very disappointed with the appearance of our lawn. Our lawn which was lush in the Spring, after three application, it is very thin and some areas are dead. We spoke with John about possible reasons and his thought were that maybe the contractor used an annual seed and the other possibility was lawn fungus. He didn’t see fungus and the we confirmed with the contractor that the grass seed that was planted in the fall was blue grass and a blend of fescues, both perennials. We bought our home in December 2014 and we hired John to get our very neglected yard into shape... weeds and bare spots were everywhere. John set up a treatment program for us, was never pushy on sales and very flexible to our needs. We are now 5 years later at the end of 2020 and our lawn is beautiful. We just finished up out second full season of lawn Care with John @ JT Turf care and could not be happier with the results. John is always up front at the beginning of season on what he will be doing and costs related to those services and has been flexible if we see something that needs attention or add during the year. We handed John quite a challenge with a new struggling lawn that had tons of weeds and very little grass. John came and gave us a comprehensive plan to get a plush green lawn developed. John has always been easy to work with as he is very responsive to calls and emails. Always shows up as promised and uses the best products on the market to accomplish the job. Our neighbor recommended JT Turf Care when we discussing the fact that our lawn had become one big weed. We've tried lawn care companies and recently have been maintaining it ourselves with very little success. We had John come out and evaluate our situation and he recommended killing off the entire backyard and a milder weed killer in the front, which was not as bad. He then re-seeded and aerated our entire property, which is over 1.3 acres. We now have "true" grass growing with a lot of trees around and it looks so much better and he only started in September '18. John is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to you and being his own business he truly cares about the customer.
