JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District Garage

Only stayed one night but had a great experience. I got lost at first because it was dark and I initially missed the main valet area. But once I got there I was pleasantly greeted at the front desk and very nice gentleman took my car for valet services. This property is huge and beautiful. I was here for a work meeting the next morning and the meeting spaces were very nice. There is SO much to do in this area and a lot of the places to eat nearby are Marriott owned. The staff were all so friendly, accommodating and they had so much to offer. Can’t wait to spend more time here and enjoy myself on another trip!

Worst Marriott experience ever. I checked out early it was so bad. The management team needs to do a re train of the staff. An I'm a Platinum for life Bonvoy Member who only uses Marriott they caused me to go to the Hyatt.

The sign said $12 an hour. We were charged $40 for 56 minutes on a Friday. Never again will we make this mistake.

We treated ourselves to a 24th-anniversary gift at the Savannah Marriott Plant, and to see Tony Franklin at the District site. I must say that this was the most spectacular and wonderful hotel experience either of us have had. The staff was exactly right - not overbearing, but kind and warm. They really made the place five star. The location is perfect, being right next to the riverwalk promenade, and of course, Savannah. The Hotel itself is gorgeous and unique. Best of all were the bars and eateries in the Hotel. The tamarind-rimmed martini I had in the Baobab Lounge is the best mixed drink I've ever tasted. Now, I am not saying it is not pricey, but if you want to experience what a five star hotel should be, treat yourself at least once in your life. BTW - I visited this place LAST YEAR
