Kanen Coffee: Espresso Machines

I ordered a part for my coffee machine from this company but received no notification from the company that my order was received or shipped so I thought I was scammed. I emailed them asking for a refund because I bought the part elsewhere after not hearing anything from them. they said they had already shipped my item but needed to return it on my dime if I wanted a refund. They won’t refund me for the $20 shipping I had to pay to get refunded after they are the reason I didn’t need the part anymore to begin with. I never would’ve ordered a part elsewhere if they had communicated properly and now I am out $20 because of it.

Julios the man. I stumbled into this shop after coming to CoRo to meet a friend in Berkeley. Although I live out of this area, I got a ton of advice and tips on how to maintain my Breville Dual Boiler machine without the promise of business. The staff at Kanen seems to know their stuff, and also you can see their active repair scene in the background, showcasing a fair bit of machines like the standard Breville machines all the way up to E61. Please come visit for help with your espresso machines. If I lived around here, I would 100% trust to bring my machine here for repairs if I ever had any issues. Plus, talking to the guys here are so educational and fun.

Julian and Caldon were great, diagnosing problems with my ECM espresso machine, ordering parts and repairing the machine to as-new condition. They clearly communicated the machine’s issues and timeline for repairs. I have trusted Sam and his staff for years to service my machine.

Sam and his team are great! Trust the timeline and appreciate that your machine is in GREAT hands. These guys are diligent in their work and respect the art form. YES, you can rent a machine from them and experiment with something new while your coffee making device is repaired. Good people doing great work. Thanks for taking care of my Miele!
