KD Building Contractors

If I could give zero stars, I would. I am leaving this review under a friends' account because I am afraid Kiah would seek revenge if he saw this review - basically, do not use this contractor. They never finish anything, take your money and run, make promises they can not keep, and do overall sloppy work.

Never finished the job after getting paid in full - never gave us the accent wall we wanted, left outlets uninstalled where he did tile work, only one coat of paint in areas that clearly needed two, left a huge a mess on side of house (cigarette butts, grout and mortar splatter everywhere), uninstalled baseboard moldings, half-assed repair work where his floor guy broke a door frame and plumbers accidentally cut through adjacent wall. Completely ghosted us as we asked when he would complete these items. And worst of all, owes me at least $800 for a broken stove and glassware due to faulty installation of shelves above it after promising he would take care of us. And he stole ceramic tile from our surplus to install on other projects. I can't prove that, but its an amazing coincidence

After attaching 29 pickets, the owner refused to paint the fence where the bush was, even though, He knew the bush was there when He gave me the estimate. When, He was told to paint it , or I will find someone else,He threatened me with a law suit. On Saturday, at noon when I woke up,I had found my bush was completely gone. His employee came onto my property without my knowledge while I was asleep and cut the whole bush to the point only a root was left. When, the owner was reminded to paint under the Beware of dog sign, He got upset and broken my pickets and threw the pieces onto my neighbor's yard and left.. Of course, He sent me a nasty message blaming me for everything. Claiming that He left because He felt that He wouldn't get paid. After, I left this review, the owner threatened me w

We seriously regret hiring KD Building Contractors and would urge anyone who values their money and sanity to not hire them. They were consistently late and often not show up even when they knew we were on a tight timeline. They were paid in full yet didn't finish the job. They damaged our home and didn't have the decency to respond when asked to remedy the situation.

Absolutely the best price on multiple quotes. Met every deadline and helped come up with solutions to a lot of existing problems I had in my home and was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking quality work! Thanks you guys rock!
