KDC Remodeling

From the moment we walked into KDC and had our initial conversation with Brad Benn, we liked what we saw and experienced! When Ron and Brad came to our house to measure, they had great ideas on how we could create a new space that we would truly love. The kitchen design was awesome on paper and even more beautiful in reality. Over the course of our project we got to know many of the great KDC employees as well as their quality subcontractors. They have done an amazing job and have become friends in the process. Brad took the time to get to know us and our tastes. That made picking cabinets, counters, and flooring truly a breeze. Bottom line, if you value quality, professionalism and timely work DO NOT USE THEM. Had a kitchen remodel done earlier this year, and we're still dealing with issues on completion and quality. Quality: they're are many defects that I am still discovering with workmanship on this project, and we are currently still waiting for crown molding trim to be completed (this project began in January). There seems to be very quality control of their product or quality assurance in their processes. (DISCLAIMER: THEY DID NOT DO THE PAINT WORK) Professionalism: Attention to details in the planning process seemed to have been heavily ignored. KDC did our beautiful cabinets in our home when we built it a new 16 years ago. We wanted to add some pull out shelves in our kitchen to make it easier to gain access to our cabinets and they did a wonderful job 16 years later and we’re very happy with the results They communicated well during the whole process and installed them in a wonderful way!

We are very happy with the kitchen remodel. KDC team was very fast with the completion. I used a big box store for a kitchen remodel on my last house and I would recommend KDC 100% over Home Depot. Furthermore, KDC was very helpful in helping us do what we could do on our own in order to save us money.

My bathroom remodel project dragged on for more than three months. It was characterized by poor communication between KDC and its subcontractors and numerous errors. Subcontractors had to wait on supplies and started the project without written instructions or a plan. On three occasions the wrong item was delivered resulting in lengthy delay while replacements were fabricated. Often at the end of the workday, the subcontractor couldn't tell me when they would be back - they didn't get details on where they would be working until the start of the day. While I was satisfied with the completed project, it was a very frustrating process and shouldn't have taken that long to remodel two bathrooms.
