Kekaulike Courtyards Municipal Parking

Closest parking to Olay's Thai Lao Restaurant. However, this municipal parking after 6pm is full of homeless and transients. We encountered two of them in the stairways doing drugs despite the fact the Chinatown police substation is just few hundred feet away. Would not recommend parking there if by themselves for safety reasons. City is turning a blind eye. very unfortunate.

BE CAREFUL! THE LADY THAT WORKS THERE WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU!!! Pay attention to the prices and the time where you are parking, the lady there will try to tell you you parked earlier than what your tickets says or she will give you a random $ amount that is way higher than what you're supposed to pay! I go there to park after 5pm, the first few times i parked there I was in a hurry so I did not pay attention, u 5il one time she told me I had to pay $7 and i thought that was too much, i asked her for the time and she said some lie, i told her that was not right and still tried to charge me more than the $3 i was supposed to pay. She is a robber and will try to take your money, be very careful. She is an Asian lady(looks Filipino) and works there around 5pm on weekdays, in her 50s/60s! I will

Great location in center of Chinatown. Perfect for grocery shopping. Kinda grungy and NO elevator from lower levels. The old lady in the both takes cash only and is a bit grumpy, but an Aloha and a Mahalo work wonders. We paid $1.50 for a grocery shopping trip. Maybe 1 hours?

Convenient Parking for Chinatown Area at a very reasonable rate. Tight turns, narrow spaces but with 3 floors there are many stalls and usually someone leaving. Can get very crowded on the weekends, especially around lunch. Very smelly stairwells due to the homeless, but for the most part there are no homeless around during the day. The stairwell that exits onto Hotel Street is one way out only, so you will have to get back to the garage using one of the other entrances on Maunakea or off Kekaulike Shops. Safe place to park your car. 2nd floor has stalls reserved for the HPD.

Parking location is right in the middle of the old China Town and quite cheap to boot.
