Had problems with our furnace on Thanksgiving weekend. Called our normal go to company for service many times but could not get anyone to respond. After 2 days and no response Muthig’s was recommended by relatives. We called, they had back within minutes and less than an hour later were on the job. Very knowledgeable and efficient. We so much appreciate the responsiveness. We have other jobs in mind for spring and Muthig’s will be our new Go To heating and plumbing company.

Do not call this plumber. First of all he has a two tier pricing system, one for the locals and the other for nyc residents. He tried to charge me over 2K for repairs i did not need. He was unable to troubleshoot my problem either. Luckily i went to the hardware store in hobart and asked for a trustworthy person and although he was pretty busy when he made it over he was able to troubleshoot the problem in about 5 minutes and work all day to fix it. He charged me less than 300 dollars. Do yourself a favor and make a trip to the hardware store and the get the numbers of people the locals use.

Muthig's arrived for a boiler service call; upon arriving, they jiggled some wires and got the boiler to turn back on. Two days later, our boiler died again, leaving us without heat or hot water on a cold night. Luckily, a friend was able to get us up and running in a day by properly diagnosing the issue (something Muthig's was unable to understand). When calling Muthig's for a repeat call, they rudely refused to admit that they had made a mistake and hung up on me abruptly. This is the most unprofessional and uneducated heating company I have ever dealt with. I cannot recommend them less! Please take your business elsewhere.

can't say enough about how grateful we are to muthig. three times in the last 6 months they have helped us. tonight was really the most epic of saves. our boiler decided to shut off and wouldn't restart. with temps dropping it was bound for disaster. despite the weather, muthig came out for an emergency service call and got the boiler running again. they also unfroze a pipe that was preventing flow to some of our baseboards. prior to tonight they helped run new heat lines, installed a new water heater, and also fixed some faulty pressure valves.

I own Rosalino’s diner in Andes New York and have had multiple different issues with appliance and ovens which the Muthigs team has been happy to help with. From multiple odd requests to work on garland ovens to plumbing and heating for a very old furnace everyone has been out to help. I have a lot of old equipment and it gives me a lot of comfort knowing a local business is here to help.
